The author of numerous books on alternative medicine, Deepak Chopra was born in New Delhi, India, in 1947. His 1993 release Ageless Body, Timeless Mind, which shot Chopra into full-fledged celebrity status, selling more than a million hardcover copies alone. For the past three years, Greatist.com recognizes Dr. Chopra as one of “The 100 Most Influential People in Health and Fitness “. The World Post and The Huffington Post global internet survey ranked Dr. Chopra #17 influential thinker in the world and #1 in Medicine Fitness”.
Chopra is a prolific author of more than 80 books translated into over 43 languages, including numerous New York Times bestsellers.
